Its Tuesday!

Yesterday was Compassion day for the team. Pam, John and Brian met their kids for the first time and the Hunka family got to visit again. We went to a petting zoo and swam and went down water slides and threw people in the pool in their clothing and shared lunch together and blew bubbles and ate pop rocks the effect of which is greatly accelerated by carbonated beverage. To see Aldier's mom's face when she tried these was priceless. We've been talking a lot about heaven and hell in church lately and how Jesus almost always was referring to bringing one or the other to earth, right here and right now, by what we do and how we treat people. Yesterday we saw a snapshot of the rockin party heaven will be.

And then the hard part. Saying good-bye. It is hard and it is sad and mayebe even awful. We wept but not without the hope of playing together again, even if we never come back to Peru. And what a beautiful thing that is.

We came expecting to give these kids something but received way more from them. So thanks Aldier, Fatima, Maria and Marilla (love bug). We already miss you.
